New Yorkers know nice weather is near when the Met’s roof top exhibition opens for the summer. This year, the museum’s curators are featuring Cloud City by Tomás Saraceno, an Argentine sculptor who lives in Frankfurt. The installation consists of a honeycomb network of 16 interconnecting, multi-level units with reflective surfaces. From now through November 4, visitors to the Iris and B. Gerald Cantor Roof Garden are invited to explore Saraceno’s floating city. I don’t know about you, but I find the idea of levitating above Central Park very exciting.
